Welcome to KF

It does sound like a fuel or ignition issue. I know, just the basics, but a little more info would be cool to know. Good luck.

It looks like it is running rich! Check to see that the choke is disengaging when you take it off choke. I had a Boyou 220 and the carburator fuel bowl vent line, ( clear plastic hose ), was routed back and by the exhaust pipe. It melted and sealed closed, which made the motor run like crap, and it fouled plugs as well, so check that before you go farther!

This forum is overwhelmed w/ some great input! Just a different direction leads me to your air cleaner... try cleaning your filter should help some airflow to the carb! Good luck...

OK I am new....I had to join to get answers before I go bald from pulling out my hair. I have an 86 kawasaki bayou. I have all new electric componenets. Cdi,coil, rectifier and so on. The problem I am having is that I have power to the coil. Bought a tester light. When I turn it over I believe its the green wire gives me the blinking light. Other one stays on(when power is on). I hook them up to the coil and use the tester light lights up But doesn't blink thus not giving me any spark. I have tried to switch them and same problem. Please for the sake of my hair help! Thanks

Jord, welcome to the forums. I'm not sure on your Bayou. Just be careful swapping wires, especially between coil and black boxes. Don't want you to inadvertantly toast something....
I'm pretty sure there's a link or some help we can offer. Maybe Dragone can point you to the "manuals" section, if you don't own one.
Glad to have you with us.
