Race for the Cure!
Hey guys and ladies just wanted to say a little something about Race for the Cure.
My mom, Venetta Pearson, died April 22, 2005 of Breast Cancer. She was diagnosed in July 1999 and fought the good fight for almost 6 years. My mom was a very special person and I still miss her. I have been in the race for the cure and done pretty much every fundraising eventassociated with Race for the Cure since 1997. This year we are gonna do a Ride for the Cure as well. If you want you can donate ....that is awesome...but ifyou live paycheck to paycheck like most of us do....just keep those ladies who are still fighting in your prayers. THANKS!!

RE: Race for the Cure!
Sorry to hear about your mom, don't ever let anyone make you think it was supposed to be this way.[&:]Or that its just normal, because it isn't. I lost my step dad and best friend back in 1985 from Bone marrow cancer. I still miss him everyday. But doing something like you are doing is awesome, We have the relay for life coming up this summer, I for one am going to actually get out and walk.(I don't think they would let me ride the KLX around the school track [8D]) Its also good to reflect and appreciate what we all have, and to never take it for granted. Holding hands, letting people that we care about know that we do, watching children play, and just appreciating life everyday. Good for you Devilgirl. Alright everyone call someone you love right now and let them know it.That's an order! Don't wait for some "special" occasion. Oh sure they might think you did something wrong, but do it anyway.
