the judge is HUGE!
but honestly a 410 shell is only going to be useful for a snake gun
and you can get satisfactory shotshells for most pistol calibers for dispatching snakes.
I do like taurus pistols though. the judge is just a bit impractical

Well I for one would not want to be shot with a 4-10! I know people that have killed dear with 4-10 slugs. And with 2/0 shot, a 4-10 would kill yo ***. Plus if you are not a good shot with a pistol, the buckshot spread would really increase your chances of hitting at least something. The 4-10 is not just good for snakes!
I think it would be a very useful weapon for some people!

410 slug packs less punch than the equivalent cased round out of a pistol due to the short barrel.
410's can and have killed people, but that has been out of a full length barrel, there is no point in using a 410 slug in a gun that can take the more powerful round. the only purpose is to have the shot. 410 buck shot is like 3 pellets of 00.
fun toy, maybe a good saddle gun for a cowboy who wants both snakeshot and a powerful pistol round.
not practical for home defense

that and some really close birds is abotu all it is good for out of a short rifled barrel. the sprial effect combined with the short barrel results in a low velocity and a very fast spread in a circular pattern rather than a nice even spread over the blast area.
