i love sports, (playing, not watching) especially of the outdoors variety, mountain biking, rock climbing, canoeing, backpacking. but i hate jogging.

the only running i do is when playing a sportlike soccer.

funny you should mention jogging. i go about 2-5 miles everyday after work. not that i don't work hard enough at work being in my 3rd year as a roofing apprentice lol. i love it

trade the jogging shoes in for light weight hiking shoes, and the sidewalk for a trail in the mountains and i'm all for it.

not the actual temperature, but when it's 35 degrees outside and you're on black shingles with the sun blaring on you at 40 feet off the ground with a thermometer on the chimney, it does get that hot. i think 62 was the hottest we had in the sun on the roof, you actually burn your shoes to the roof and your feet get so hot that you have to step in the same spot just to keep your feet from staying on the shingles. if you don't keep lifting up your feet every ten seconds you can get seriously burned. and trust me, getting burnt on your feet is a really crappy thing to have to feel.
