Can we sticky this?
Since most of us are now prepping to put our bikes away for the winter - except you lucky folks in CA, AZ, TX, OK, GA and FL...
Post up how many miles you have on for the year!
I'll start...
17,500 - I am going to try to hit 18k, but it is going to be tough as we will be having a cold snap in the midwest starting tonight, with snow expected for Thanksgiving week!
I am in dire need of sprockets, chain and a valve adjustment!

Yeah, I don't like to ride much - can't you tell? And this is in Chicagoland too... not exactly the longest riding season in the country, ya know? Sad to say, I think today's trip to work and back might have been the last ride of the year
Oh - and for the record - stock chain and sprocks (530) - chain went bad with in-consistent stretching about 1k ago, sprocks are not the best, but are still ok. Stock brakes I could probably get 1 more season out of, but I am gonna go ahead and replace them, front and rear. It is also about 2 to 3 k overdue for a valve adjustment... Aside from a starter clutch cut-off that started working backwards early this summer (it will only start in neutral without clutch), not a SINGLE problem. Great bike - even if it is an antique.
Unfortunately - I can't say that I have had held up as well as the bike, knees, legs, hips, back... - and I fear that while I will certainly be keeping the ZX9 and riding it a great deal next year as well... I think that either an ST1300 or a Goldwing is on the very near horizon for me as the major ride. I have put about 500 on my neighbors ST1300, and that is a really awesome ride... liking it more and more each time I take it out, and may have to take a pit-stop on the sport-touring class before going on to a full Goldwing
