yeah I enjoyed those two jumps, I agree with the most challenging part must have been keeping the tires warm and getting around that parking garage. how fast do you think his launch speed was? my guess was approx 120 to 130???

From what I heard, 95mph minimal to hit the ramp. and at the top of the ramp leaving at 85mph.

Robbie Maddison isn't Evel Knievel, not by a long shot! I think I would have been impressed if he had landed on a metal ramp that was only 8 or 10 feet wide like Evel Knievel was famous for. That huge dirt mountain they built for Maddison to land on (which is the crux to the whole jumping concept) totally made it look tame! Risk factor: 5 out of 10! YAWN!

KC, I guess I'd give it a 2 out of 10 for the "fear factor" element - It was a completely "clean" jump environment. Even if he hadn't made the "Everest" size landing ramp it was tappered in the front to absorb the impact if he fell short. Where's the metal school buses, cars, pond filled with croc's or burning oil?????

LAME! Watching 'Dancing With The Stars' is scarier and has more risk to it! [sm=crossbonesgif.gif]

mind the technological advances as well so I think I am going to have to agree with you. But I really like his form and control he had when he left the launch ramp.
