Notstock> I would really encourage you to audition the 901s against some other stuff - including higher end JBL, Infinity, Polk, Klipsch, PSB, and certainly Martin Logan. I don't mean listening to it seperately - but actually A/B them against each other. You really have no idea what you are missing in the spectrum of sound if you believe that the 901s are some of the best speakers ever made. It is physically and acoustically impossible for a 4.5in driver - or 9 of them in a single cabinet - to reproduce the 20-20k sound spectrum with any remote degree of accuracy, no matter how small of a space you might put them in.

OK - Ill stop preaching now - but seriously - line them up against something else that costs even half as much... *zips it*

That is almost half of my shop floor! Does not mean that you have any money though. Ok, at least I don't.

We ran wires in the house, about $10k for that, almost 3 days work for 10 guys one day, and about 5 the others. Radiant floors throughout the house. Probably a couple million for the house.

None of that's mine. Those are places I've worked at, then some of our store.

I'll make about $15-20k this year, take-home. Rent is about $900/month for a 3-bedroom, plus utilities, but I only pay $300 of that, total.

Our store sells a ton of stuff, and the store keeps most of the money, so we're getting f'd. Unless you're one of the higher-ups. One of our commercial salesmen is probably making the most out of all 7 of our stores.

That salesman's new Mustang, before graphics and hood pins, along with my Astro.

Verdict is in... Klipsch RF-35's (Pair) $650 (they couple well with my Klipsch Synergy 12 600w sub) (retails at a grand)
Harman Kardon AVR-645 7.1 receiver $485 (retails at 1200)
Joe Rocket Kawi factory leather, size 48 - $350 (retails at 520)

The smile on my face... Priceless
