iTouch, I'd be afraid to drop it. I use an iPod Nano when I ride, climb or go hiking-seems to be able to take the abuse I dish out. I've always been an Apple fanatic!

The new ipod touch looks great. I'm seriously thinking about getting an iphone once my current contract is up which is in June.

How is Sprint's service out there?

While I don't plan to use it while riding, I still got a hard case for it... better to be safe than sorry.

I like the VibeVault for iPod cases. They increase size and weight 2x, but if you want some real protection, I'd go that route. Not good for docks, though.

I like my 80GB, but I worry about protecting it, since I use it on the job in a warehouse and on delivery. I've cracked 4 RAZR lenses, and just going without one now.

The iPod Touch is great, VibeVault even makes a machined aluminum case for it too. I just couldn't agree with the possibility of damage to it, since I'm hard on everything I own. The lack of space or removable media is something I don't like either. How hard is it to add an SD card? Regular, mini, or even micro? If they did, I'd probably buy one. I had the chance to get a 16GB for about $340, but I went with the 80GB for about $207, and decided to spend my money elsewhere.

Verizon and Alltel seem to have the best coverage and least dropped calls out here. Sprint is so-so.
