Default I'm Home!

I went to Alabama for Christmas to visit my Grandmother. Mw wife drove her Jeep and I drove my truck. While I was there, I stopped at my Uncle's house and picked up my Harley. I was mistaken. I said it was a 1978 Sportster 1000. It's not, it's a '79. I got some pics, but they aren't very good. I'll post more up tomorrow when there's light outside.

I also have another tank that came with the bike. Here's some pics of it. I think I'm going to have it re-painted black with a sexy little Vampire chick on it.

That's cool! How many miles? It would be nice to have an ole' harley jusy to mess around on. I'd build it into a rat bike.

34K miles on it. I can't build it into a rat bike, because it was my Uncle's before he died. It's a special bike. That's the only reason I have a Harley in the first place. And say what you will, but I actually MISS kick starters.

I understand that Rocket. My Fatboy was my best friends that is now gone to the big highway in the sky. Yeah, you have just got to take care of it and keep it as close as you can to the way he wanted it. Thats what i do.

nice looking bike you got there. just wondering is that a custom paint job on it right now? couldn't realy see what the real color of the bike is. looked green and almost a rust red color too. so i guess i'm asking what color is it.

It's a chameleon paint job. It goes from brown to green to gold.
