So I go up to check out my Geocache yesterday, its about 5 miles off road, and as I get closer to the site all I see is garbage. What kind of person does this sort of thing? Anyone remember the commercial from years ago with the Native American that had a tear in his eye when he saw what was happening tothe land around him? Well I think in some sort of surreal way I now understand what that feels like. Check out the pictures.[:@][:@][:@] I called the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) here locally and told them about all the garbage, and they said that they wouldsend up an inmate crew to clean it all up.

Fish tank........yeaaaaaaaaaa lets shoot a fish tank. How about you shootyourself in the nads next time and save the gene pool.


It really sucks to see this kind of stuff going on around here. Especially when its in the middle of a great place like this. I mean look at the view. And people wonder why they are closing roads and areas to anyone for any reason.

Well that's it, I guess. I hope something in that garbage leads the investigators back to the scumbags that did this.

It really is disgusting that people would just dump their chit all over such beautiful land. Hopefully this is nothing more than an isolated incident.

 

yeah man hope they find out who...I have that same problem here where i live. Just some rednecks dont give a rats azz about anything. GRRRRRRR it pisses me off.. I wake up everymorning and pick up beer cans and bottles cuase i live on a coner of the street. and everytime someone stops they throw something out. And by the way AT LEAST YOUR DNR IS DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT. I Called them months ago about 7 bags of trash on the side of the road and they did nothing about it. Its still there looknig nasty. The crapping thing is like i told the DNR,"all this trash you know your goin to find a bill or some kind of statement in the trash that will lead to the crooks" but still nothing oh well. Sorry about that deej

 

What gripes me is if the dump sites would take the garbage if you bring it in yourself, without charging, people would take it to the dump sites. But they want 20 dollars a truck load so we pay a county worker 15 dollars an hour for 3 or 4 hours to clean up. It would be a lot easier just to let people dump, and a lot better for the environment. That said it's still no excuse for the creeps to dump there garbage anywhere they want.
