Default Are the plastics for different year klx250's interchangable?

Hi All,

Apologies for the layout of my post, this is my first forum post and just wanted to see if anyone has had the idea i'm brainstorming at the moment.

I currently have a 2007 KLX250S and I am wanting to get some new plastics, (the bike was stolen and recovered by the police, however, the theives did do a number on the bike). I have sorted all the electronics and mechanics of the bike but now it is time to give her a new dress (so to speak). I have been looking around and am struggling to find a 2007 Headlight cover in any of the online kits and was wondering if anyone has tried putting the 2008 plastics on the 2007 frame and if there will be any issues with that?

I don't mind having to drill some new holes but would rather not have to re-heat plastics to shape them, if anyone has any advice id appreciate it.

Only pre-2009 plastics will fit your bike. Totally different tank plastics, side number plate covers, fenders... I will say the plastics from the KLX300R should fit, but no tail light on rear fender.
