I am not from North Carolina, I was there for three years working on Construction projects. It is a great state and I had a great time there but I have now relocated to Indiana.
Wish we could have hooked up and rode together.

Hey - Indiana has some great roads in the south-central area... starting about an hour south of Indy... great roads for riding.

I lived in Bloomington when I was doing the cop thing. Take 37 into Bloomington, then take 3rd street to the east to a town called Columbus. That is one fun route. Also out of Bton - head south on Walnut, turn east on Rhorer road... head towards Lake Monroe... some pretty nice riding out there as well... especially if you want to go all around the lake. Be sure to stop by the Four Winds Resort for lunch or dinner, and wave at my old boat down in the marina.

Take the back roads from Bloomington to Bedford as well... http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...;z=12&om=1
