The guns & ammo thread

Yeah, do you have anywhere to shoot. I belong to a gun club up north of my city and they have a great outdoor range. You can shoot fish and go in the club house and get drunk.

Here's my small collection:
Glock 17
Ruger Mark II Target .22
Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum
Remington .221 Fireball
Forester .243 w/really nice Leupold scope
Remington Model 700 .308
Browning .22
I have some other stuff like a handful of pellet air rifles and pistols that are fun for plinking in the back yard with the kids.

Plenty of places to go shooting, but with the ammo shortage I really haven't been that much lately. Trying to save what ammo I have
I like that Colt Anaconda, my dad has one and it is a very nice weapon!

Yeah, I know what u mean, we have to qualify in 3 weeks and I have 400 round of practice ammo. I will only use 150 and save da rest.

I qualify in about a week, not sure how many rounds we will throw down range tho. After that we are given 50 rounds with an additional 100 a month to shoot, but we have to bring the brass back to the office after shooting it.

about those tracker bullets, obama and his pals wanna put serial numbers on bullets so after their shot they can be tracked back to the owner.
his 2-major flaws
1) bullets get so mashed upon impact the number would never hold up or be readable enough to stand in court if you have a half decent lawyer
2) people committing real crimes will have out of the country bullets, so only law abiding citizens will be using them in the first place.
everyone's inconvenienced, noones happy, things get more complicated, no crime is stopped, only made more confusing to track.
great idea if you ask me

I'm surprised you don't use the PD range...we go to the PD range at least once a week practicing on my 25 yards and out...in the military while stateside we don't carry...when they stick my *** overseas they give me the POS Berretta 9mm (great I can stop a rabid camel spider!) and the M4... ...I have a Glock 22 and hopefully in June I will be pickin' up an AR-15 all tricked out and I would also like to pick up an assult shotgun
