ahh, i know why i like em so much... looks like a rottie, but smaller and fresh after a snowstorm. i grew up with a rottwiler, love them to death... his name was sagrent. he would kill/atack anything. almost killed my mom twice, went after my dad and from what my parents have told me he consumed at east 3 other dogs and countless cats, however i was his lil' pal... i used to ride him around the house like a horse, and get on by pulling on his ears. but he never so much as growled at me. then we had to get rid of him cus my bro was born and he jumped into the cradle and almost ate him cus he wouldnt stfu definitly getting another one when i move out and go to college.

Dogs are the best , no doubt. Heelers sound like awesome companions.

I just had my rotty put down over the summer because of a cancer. 13 yrs old. Atleast she lasted a year longer than expected so I'm gratefull for that. The house still isn't the same.

Thats the thing about dogs you have them around for like 10 plus years and then they die , its sad they are a part of the family

That sucks, it is so difficult to have a dog put down. Been there, hated every bit of it.
I just could not, not have a dog, so now I have 2. One is a 3 year old Black Lab/Boxer, the other is a 1 year old Chocolate Lab/German Shorthaired Pointer. They are so loyal and loveable, its amazing. I dont think I will ever Not have a dog.

I am going to name it Shadow. The dogs are known for sticking to their owners like a shadow. I love the breed my only concern is living in a town house. I have a good size two story apartment with a small back yard. I jog 6-7 days a week for an hour or more and a time and tend to go hiking 3 times a month for 7-12 miles. I'm pretty sure that the dog will get plenty of exercise between jogging hiking. I know that breed tends to get destructive if they are not exercised enough.

Nice looking dog man... I like that breed.

We have a Black Mouth Cur... we got him when he was 10 weeks, and he is now 3 and a half and 95lbs and can rest his chin on the dining room table....
