Furnaces are a lot like motorcycles. *UPDATE*

Spent the last three weeks starting up a new Power Plant peaking unit in a miserable and cold place called Braintree, MA...just outside of Boston. Sometimes I used to consider moving north for some mountains and seasonal weather changes....not anymore.
F'n May up there and there was days where it was 40s w/rain and wind.....F THAT.
Takin the day off work today, to tinker with my skiff and ktm.......the lil klx doesn't need any work as usual

Haha nice. Hey I just found out that Bryant bumped up the warranty for all these furnaces from 5 years to 20 and all three of the units that have failed here was not my fault! That makes me feel better. Hopefully we can get $1200 back on each of these three units. That's something huh?

Make sure and adjust the cfm of the blower and the W.C inches to obtain a proper Temp Rise deej. Condensing furnaces will last longer as well with what you have already mentioned. You pulled an upflow furnace, so make sure that the AC pan was not overflowing causing premature heat exchanger rust/slime. Have fun

Furnace Update!
Well I got the new furnace installed this morning, here are a few pics.
Furnace going back in. Man these things are heavy, close to 200 lbs.
2X6 holding up the duct system.
Setting the gas pressure.
Good Flame
Done!
From the gas piping, the electrical. thermostat, air in and out, duct work, and setting the pressure, it took me close to 2 hours. Still way cheaper than having the furnace guys drive out an hour and back. They have included a check up of my work tomorrow since they will be in town anyway. Now I need to go make sure the IP thermostat still
