You know, I never really thought about lightning striking me on a bike, and have ridden through a lot of thunderstorms. Now I'm going to worry!

Crap, I've been caught up in the mountains a couple of times trail riding in a lightning storm. I was worried when in the trees but should have been worried when riding out on the bald ridges. I always thought the tires kept me safe.

i use to think the same thing, and one time my wife and had gotten into a fight about and she found that article to prove me wrong
