Deej's MSF class
Well this was a weird and awesome day filled with adventure, some wrenching and some nostalgic and coincidental chance happening. If that makes sense.
Ok the day started out with me, the wife and her friend and the lead singer from a friends band all going up to work to do some Bike classes. One of the gals is a total noob who has never been on a bike, but I hardly had time to pull the moped out of storage before she was riding all over the lawn. Sheesh, and some of you may remember this same gal that who had never shot a gun and schooled me at shooting my own 44 magnum at 40 feet.
Here she is getting instruction from the guitarist in her band and my best friend.
And of course all good things must come to an end, but she did pretty good, and that's the great thing about teaching students on grass, you really can't get hurt too bad.
And it was great to get the wife back on the bike, and after an hour she actually felt pretty confident.
The KLX waiting to be rode. Oh I got on it a few times and showed the students that 50 ft wheelies are what not to do.[8D]
My son had a blast on the moped.
Mike's wife
There was even some old fat dude riding the moped..........oh crap that's me![8D]
Ok that went well until the moped started running rich, so into the shop it went for a quick look, turns out the float was sticking.
A few minutes later it was back into the mix.
Ok here is where it got weird, see tomorrow here at work, the Forks class of 1958 is having thier 50 year re, and my wife is working the kitchen for them, anyway as we were all riding on the lawn a car pulls up and an older couple walk up and start talking to us to find out if this is the place that the re is being held, and it turns out that he had some Forks High School annuals with him, from 1955, 56, 57, 58, 59 and 1982!!! He got the annuals after his mom passed away and for some reason he happened to have a 1982 annual, that the year I graduated here but I lost my annual 20 years ago. He went to the car and we sat there looking at all of the pictures and we found me, and of course the wife and all my friends got a real kick out of it. Anyway I took the digital camera and snapped a few pics.
See if you can find me. And remember this was 1982 so be nice.[8D]
Wow what a trip down memory lane, which as some of you know I like do do as much as I can.[8D] And remember those advertisements that the school annual had in them? Well here is one of the theatre we had, and remember this is taking a picture with my camera from that annual. Good times indeed.
Well that's it. Good night all. Be safe, have fun and don't let life pass you by.
