if your working at a dennys and some 7/11 to make ends meet I doubt you would be able to car pool. The public transportation system in this area isn't that great.

My cousins wife takes B.A.R.T. (its the bay area's verson of the subway) to school. lucky it stops right by U.C. berkley. Even that costs them about 60 or so a week.

What sucks more is they are raising the price of bridge toll in a month or two. So it will cost 5 to cross all the bridges in this area. The golden gate bridge will cost 7 to cross.

with our sub way system it avgs out to about 3.20 or so a mile.

yup and there are a lot of bridges in this area.
