Busa insurance is HOW MUCH?!?!?!?!?!?
I had heard Busa insurance was high. I googled around and saw people getting quotes of like 9 to 12 grand/yr holy ish! The bike brand new is 12 grand by itself.
If I ever get one (which I won't) I guess it would be liability only or no insurance at all (in FL bike ins is "not required but highly recommended" w/e that means).[&:]

310/yr, max coverage, including the kitchen sink on my ZX9, Gecko.
Look at the people getting the quotes... under 25, and never had bikes before most likely. Meanwhile - I have 15 years of streetbike history on insurance, and could probably get one insured for under a grand.
Even in states that do not require vehicle insurance - if you have a loan on any vehicle, the financial institution will require that you carry full coverage, not just crash & burn insurance. Check your contracts - if you let your insurance lapse, they can actually forfeit the vehicle, and sieze it.

A little over three hundred a year for a ZX-14, liability and theft only. If I wreck it, I'll fix it! Of course it is paid for or this wouldn't work as Srob stated.
