I happen to like the looks of buells. They are very diffrent. Like gotrice said its hard to compare to a I4. Buells are Vtwins. Vtwins by nature have strong low and mid range power not really known for the top end rpm power. Vtwins need to be riden diffrently then I4's to get the most of them. The only Buell that is not going to be air cooled as of now is the new one with the rotex motor. I almost bought a buell before I got my ninja and did as much research on them as I could. I got a great deal on my ninja so I got it. Plus the buell was a little small for me. I looked like a circus bear on a tricycle.
i like the designs of the buell lightnings - they are visually works of art. I also like how they sound. However, i have never ridden one (had a friend with one for a while before i got my liscence) so i can't speak as to how they handle

Looked at the specs, seen some "riders" on them, I have not played on one, but definitely a wheelie machine.
