I happen to like the looks of buells. They are very diffrent. Like gotrice said its hard to compare to a I4. Buells are Vtwins. Vtwins by nature have strong low and mid range power not really known for the top end rpm power. Vtwins need to be riden diffrently then I4's to get the most of them. The only Buell that is not going to be air cooled as of now is the new one with the rotex motor. I almost bought a buell before I got my ninja and did as much research on them as I could. I got a great deal on my ninja so I got it. Plus the buell was a little small for me. I looked like a circus bear on a tricycle.

my thoughts exactly, i went on a buell ride for a few years at the mototcycle show and was hoping by the next year things would have changed and to my surprise, nope. o well, a buell is a buell and not my style so why bash them, ill just ride my ninja. the buell blast i think it is, is the biggest pos i ever seen tho. thats worth a bashing or 3.

Not sure if I want to bash the buell just yet. The secretary at work, her boyfriend bought one and stopped in to take her for a ride yesterday and it's not for me. Looks small and well...like a turd. But to each his own.

in tests they did for the bike mag T.W.O. it scored REALLY high in the corning department. The only complaint they had was the motor wasn't good enough to compete with the bikes in its market. The new bike will have that problem fixed. (180-190hp) and mid to upper 80s in TQ. Oh and its not leaking oil its just marking its teritory.

I am currently looking at the buell X1's . . . But- they look pretty cool and I've also heard they are heavier but feel super light because the weight is focused towards the bottom of the bike rather than being top heavy- any way- I'll have to see what they sound like with any kind of exhaust - I'll go to You Tube - as for the blast. . . [:'(]
