lol you can't pump your own gas??? Wow better not go to oregon without fuel.

I just found out a couple weird ones up here.

In Calgary if you park your horse in front of city hall, it must be tied up.

In British Columbia (and someone here may be able to vouch for this) you cannot pull over on the highway to urinate. This is because there is a certain amount of ammonia or something in your **** that is classed as harmful to the environment!!!! (What they really want is people to use the rest rooms, but that would never fly so they threw some science into it)

Also in Calgary, you cannot leave a diesel powered vehicle running in the same spot for more than 3 minutes (noise violation). Thats great, so when its -40 celsius outside and I have to fire it up, I only have 3 minutes to let it warm up!!!

Oregon has full service stations so you have to pay extra. As for ammonia in your ****, there are more animals out there than people so i dont see the point in their arguement

A lot of those laws make sense in the lawbooks but when you interpret them they get a little crazy

...alot of them are really old as well, it is just easier to ignore the old laws than get people to waste their time voting to remove them.

You'd think that, maybe it was something else but I was sure that would be it. They got it though, idiots. They really enforce the stupid laws in the north eastern part of BC to the extent, like over sized trailers (non commercial that is) etc. Even if half of the fines stick, they still make da money.
