Default Bike readiness and last minute shopping

Well I decided that I needed to get a few more items and do a little more maintenance on the bike before my trip to Canada. I talked to the wifey in Houston and told her that I was in the garage messing with stuff getting things in order. She just laughed and said calm down dude. Anyway I forgot to put an in-line fuse holder on my 12v accessory plug when I wired it last year, and so I thought what we don't need on the trip is me catching the bike on fire especially since I'm also carrying 2 gallons of gas on the bike with me.

But even before that I tool a look outside and noticed that the rose bush that is right outside the sliding glass door next to the deck has actually one flower on it. This is the rose (the only one we got) that never gets attention, gets grease poured on it from the kitchen, gets weed whacked all the time and it still somehow survives.

Anyway on to other business. I went to the store for some last minutes items for my trip. Here is a picture.

Now I need to explain something. See that container of Monkey Butt powder? Well I almost fell over while looking at the small town store for some regular powder to help in the comfort of riding some distance, and I look on the shelf and what the freak? I mean this is a small town, 3100 and our store had Monkey Butt powder. That is awesome!

Extra fuses for the trip, and the fuse holder that I needed to wire in.

There that's better. Now onto a few more items. Air cleaner needs cleaned.

There that's better.

Some new stickers

Here is a picture of the stuff I'm taking, and this isn't even the food or my clothes......YIKES!!

Here is some of the food.

And all back together.

Now its time for dinner. My wife hates it when the only time I cook is when she is gone. Here we have a delicate glazed sweet & sour pork chop with tomatoes. mmmmmmmmm Don't it look good? And they were.....all three.
