Old school, nice. You need a western holster for that bad boy. I see you blacked out the serial number

It would be a shame not to have a western holster. I also have a Winchester 44mag lever action rifle to go with it as well.

Nice! So do they both take the same rounds? Or is the rifle a longer cartridge?

They both take the same rounds, which makes it nice when you are in the field. The rifle is good to about 300yds before its accuracy starts to go. Load them both up with hot loads and they are both a lot of fun toshoot.

What model is the rifle, and can you scope it? I might start re-loading my own stuff, and it would be nice to have everything the same.

It is a Winchester Model 94AE, and yes it can be scoped. I have had it for about seven years and have been very happy with it so far. Its not made for distance but it is great for 300yds and closer.

As far as reloading I have just started and I have been enjoying that as well. I have about 500 brass rounds in a drawer that I can load for aprox 50 bucks. Compared to buying 500 more rounds at 20 dallors per 50 rounds, which would be 200 dallors. That and you can load exactly what you want which is nice.
