RE: another reason to always wear your gear
I heard on the radio the other day, that a guy went against traffic on a one way street on a major road here, with no helmet, and crashed head on to a pickup truck. They only mentioned it was a sport bike, and assume it was suicide.
I feel bad for the family that was in that truck. They were not hurt, but got to see him eat the windshield. I wish he had just been a man and shot himself in the face instead.

getting shot hurts like hell[8D]
want a conparison... put 3 cigarettes out in the same spot on your arm, then have a really strong friend hit it with a bat.

Amazing he only slid on gravel at 100mph. I heard a slide is a foot per mph. He's lucky there wasn't trees by the ramp like most. Hopefully he stays of bikes til he matures and respects the machine and people on the road.
Sorry to hear what happen Talca.

My roommate talked to him yesterday and I guess what happened is that he was trying to keep up with an expericienced rider going up the on ramp. I know some of you think he might have been drinking but he doesnt drink at all. And when your at my house you don't drink and ride, I wont let you.

going 100mph to KEEP UP with the other rider just plain sucks, on the other rider. If he knows that he's got a green guy riding with him then he is retarded going that fast in the first place.
