450 miles this weekend
On the Honda! LOL Rode to my mom's house down to Chehalis on Saturday morning, worked around her house on some electrical stuff, and then on Sunday morning rode to Olympia and on to Tacoma and across the Narrows bridge. Stopped about 40 minutes into the ride to drink some coffee. It was foggy still, at 6:30 in the morning.
And Yogurt.....I haven't had yogurt in like 5 years! And it was really good.
I couldn't stop to take a picture of the bridges but here is what it looks like. It can get windy up here for sure. In fact just before I crossed it on the bike on Sunday, there was a sign about a half mile before you got there that read Severe side winds on bridge that was flashing. YIKES! But the bike and I made it ok, it wasn't too bad at all.
Then I met up with he wife and kid in Sequim, caught a movie (Battleship) then stayed the night at sister in laws house and then home on Monday. I got a little rain on the last 60 miles, but it was a great ride over all.

Nice ride report, Deejer. Great pics!
Note for the younger guys on here; I'm going to sound like your dad for a minute...riding in fog....be on Threat Level "Intense." Bad stuff can come out of nowhere and happen "NOW." Be very visible* (notice Deej' very fashionable Hi-viz vest) and ride with a constant escape route in mind. There's a reason why us old dudes are still riding...

Yeah the fog was really not on the road, but it was close. Speaking of high visibility, I had several oncoming cars flashing their lights at me, even at intersections in town, I guess my PIAA lights are working great!. That's the whole idea is that people see you. I wanted to stop and tell them to bugger off, stupid cagers. I even had someone tell me that you're not supposed to use high beam during the day......how stupid are people? Wow!

Momma is dead but I'm still after those holes. You spend 9 months trying to get out, and the rest of your life trying to get back in
