yeah, i love craigslist... i buy/sell a ton on there. and from alll that ive done on there i have this to say.

trust no one.

id say a good 40% of ppl on there are ripoff scam artists. so pay attention to detail and their stories when you do go to buy.

and one more thing, the 40ish mpg i was talking about is for the zx6r, im pretty sure the zzr600 is near/above 50mpg.

damn. wouldnt think some tuning and gearing would take 10mpg off of a bike

I don't have any tuning or gearing. Mine is bone stock.

naw, i mean the 6r vs zzr. they use the same block right? the 6r just has different tuning and gears. or am i horribly wrong?

You are horribly wrong. First off, the ZZR600 is Carb vs. the Fuel Injected ZX6R. They are a completely different engine. The ZZR600 is a 2002 ZX6R re-badged with a more comfortable seat and higher clip-ons.

if you have ridden dirt bikes for aw hile when you were a kid go with the 600, cuz the 250 will get boring after a few weeks cuz you already know how to ride. i just bought my wife a ninja 250, when i ride it to where ever we go and practice i feel like a homo on that think lol its small compared to my zx6, go with the 600 if you already have some experiance under your belt
