I was looking at a xb9 for my frist bike but went with my ninja instead. How does it ride? what did you ride before the firebolt and how does it compare to the firebolt. I can't wait for the motorcycle show they are having here this weekend so i can test ride one. I want to see how it feels with all that torque.

Well with only 7 miles under my belt, i must say it is strange to have all that power from start to finish. I do find myself shifting more, but hey, its not a true sportbike.

The bike i had before this was an 04 636 (stolen) and an 05 636 (totaled). The 05 was fully modded out from top to bottom. Hmmm, how does it compare, well they are totally 2 differnt bikes. Head to head, well i will find that out this spring when 056r and i burn up the dragon.

I loved my 636, no real flaws with it other than a slightly clunky gear box. The buell seams to shift alot smoother, but you shift alot more. tachs out around 5 or 6. (i forget which) This time around i got the color of bike that i really wanted, so that is a plus for the buell.

All in all i think they both have there plus and minus's. Altleast im back on two wheels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, i havent got to test this yet, but this bike seems to really respond to every movement i make. No effort at all is needed to dip into a turn, but i will have more on this when i have a few thousand miles under my belt.
