Default 1997 firebird formula

mkeh, i got a e-mail just now regarding my gay *** lumina..

it read "I HAVE A 1997 FIREBIRD FORMULA, AUTOMATIC , 113K, FOR TRADE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THE CAR IS NOT REGISTERED SO IT WOULD BE A BONUS IF YOU COULD
COME TO ME. IT LOOKS LIKE THE LUMINA IS REGISTERED. THANKS, MIKE"

so, my question to yous guys is this.. how much city mpg/*****? i know its a worthy trade, considering its only 2 years older and has 13K less miles.. not to mention i was fully sold on
a 1985 trans a few days ago. my lumi currently gets 17 or less city so if this is near/better than that imma go for it.

thats a nice firebird...... it probably has the 3.8l v6 they move decent.... ok gas mileage too..... Id be concerned about the not registered part..... and look it over closely before the final deal, make sure everything works..... id say go for it.

It's been in a wreck. Paint color is different between the front quarter and the nose clip. Look for rust under the hood in the unibody and the areas surrounding where the radiator bolts up to. Buy with caution.

Those plastic nose clips sun fade at a different rate than sheet metal. But Srob is right, make sure it hasn't been wrecked. Try to start it up from cold engine and tranny. If it's going to knock, or tranny's going to slip, that's when you will hear it and feel it.
