Those atvs ripped back in the day,but I wouldn't give $1800 for it,hell it's 20 yrs old and you can get something alot newer that goes great for around the same money.I have seen the old Honda 250R's going for that kind of $$ but not around here, now if you live in one of the desert states where a machine like that really shines I could see it.If it's something you want,go for it,but be careful it's a 2 smoke and probably has been beaten hard since new.

I see that your from NH slaughter, in western states that quad is probably a sought after machine for dune running and fixed up and redone would probably bring good $$. Two things to think of before buying, 1- is it for reselling and trying to make a profit? or 2- is it something you want to keep? If your looking at making profit on it,I think what the seller is asking is probably the top $$ around here.If your going to ebay it and ship it, you have to figure in every repair your going to do and then add on ins, and freight costs. I'm sure it is probably worth that $1800 all day in parts, but parting out a running machine is a hard choice to make and you'll sit on parts for a bit. I have seen people pay more $$ to get a couple parts than to buy a whole machine for less.

yeah, i buy and sell this crap all the time.
if was gonna keep it for maybe a month or so til it warmed up a bit outside and they started selling better, then i was gonna ditch it.
it looks pretty good in the pics he sent me, but i have no idea if its mechanically sound, ive seen some true blues and some real **** hole con artists on CL.
i dont know about parting it... i might if i dont get what i want for it whole.
and im only giving him $850 cash. the other $1150 is coming from an $800 pitbike with an obnoxious exhaust.
