Bigjay? Ya got an issue with the big *** syndrome? Look at the Nose on this ride, the hoover tubes, etc. Why would you put a stinger looking tail on this thing? I get alot of what is that from people? She is unique as it is, would not suggest messing with a good thing. Great looking ride that you have. I may just keep my hoover tube now.

thanks, i dig the ram air tubes, the only way i would swap them for the direct inlets of the newer 7's is if they were alot more functional. the tailbothered me at first, then for the longest time it didnt really bother me as i had other things to do to it but now that im done with it mechanically ( aside from a good tune) its bothering me again, my plan was to get another bike and keep this one stock but another bike isnt going to be coming along untill late winter at the earliest. this is the cleanest h2 ive/alot of people haveseen yet andnone of the kawi gurus ive run into want me to do the tail swap but in all reality what is it worth leaving stock, even pristine they dont seem tobring much so ive come to the conclusion that its not as bad astubbing a #'s matchingls6 chevelle and i wont go straightto hell for it i do want to keep the stock tail and the ability to put it back for the sake of going back to the stock look should the need arise. what year is your bike?

I wanted to do the same thing too... but it doesn't bother me anymore and i decied to just leave it alone. Instead of swaping tails i'm just gonna buy a 2002 zx7r ( i like the checker flag graphics lol!) once i'm comfortable riding a motorycle. just my 2cents.

I love my hoover tubes, everytime someone asks what they are,I just reply tghat they are vacuum tubes from an old JC Penny model that I modified to fit for air comsumption.
