Default anyone ever heard of port dover?

i know that there aren't many canadians on this site, but i was wondering how far across the border the word travels. there is ALWAYS a bike rally at port dover on FRIDAY THE 13TH. no matter if it's december or january or what. we were lucky this year it was in april and july. i wasn't foolish enough to go in april (my cousin went and got snowed on lol) but i did go in july. it was said that there were 150 000 bikes and upward of 500 000 people. i'll tell ya this little town turns into quite a hot spot once or twice a year. this first pic is 2 towns away from port dover just trying to get there. bikes as far as the eye could see. it's mostly a V twin crowd but as long as ur on two wheels they'll let ya in town. no cars allowed. oh i almost forgot, at the time my bike was less than a month old so i was PISSED that we got soaked on the way there, had to take a detour because of construction on a freakin gravel road...my bike was COVERED in mud. so we hit a car wash on the way and then it was ALL GOOD!

looks like fun but I think we need to put EMS behind the camera to get some more worthy pics

Yea I agree, I have been hit twice on the freeway at above 50 and both times was ableto walk away. Right to the hospital and sore as f- but it would have been an ambulace ride and lots of skin graphs if not for the gear.

Gear up, arrive alive and with your skin

ME!

Sounds like a good run. I cancelled my road trips for this year. Anecortes is a good run though, may be too far from you.
