That's your biggest problem there, being 16. What bike are you trying to insure? That makes a difference. Litre bikes will cost
considerably more than a 600. A new anything will cost more than one 4-5 years old. Never having had insurance before will jack
the price up too.

You can try Geico. I think Dairyland still insures bikes. Good luck.

Go to state farm after you have a couple of good years. There the best.
I had a bad ticket year here in cali and got droped by them now I have to sell my first born to be able to insure all my vehicles.

I have progressive, but with limited insurance (no collision etc...) it cost 372 a year, but with full coverage it would have been about 2300. I have an 05 636, and have a stupid DWAI on my record, long *** story there.....you can get cheap coverage, but not if you want full. Good luck

If you are a member of triple A (AAA) you can get some fair rates. I have never ridden a bike before and can get full coverage on a 5004R for $480.00 year.

Triple A memberships are fairly inexpensive and worthwhile for roadside assistance (they will do m/c's now) as well as discounts at resturaunts, hotels and themeparks.

About $480 a year thru Farmers. But in 44 and had my class M since I was 16. My son (19) runs a 04 Suzuki Katana 750, I have him as a second rider on it for about $550 a year.
