Stuff dreams are made of
Hi, let me introduce myself... LimeDream,
It has been 30 years since I sold my "Kawasaki green" 100cc Dual Sport (which I converted to a "cool looking" Dirt Digger).
Hadn't touched a dirt bike in decades... A few years ago a friend let me drive his Honda CR125. Wow, I remembered how to ride! The owner even said I could be a great rider, cause I have guts (perhaps he was concerned for his bike).
Anyway, I've had a recurring dream over the years about finding my 100cc bike and getting to ride it again... well this Saturday a new dream comes alive as I fire up my new Kawasaki Green 2007 KLX 250S!
I have a riding partner this time... my son is getting a 2003 Honda XR80.
I look forward to getting back into riding, and getting to know some of you!

Oh I see your an old dude.
Just kidding, for a lot of us older guys this is the first bike we have had in 15 or 20 years, for some of the younger guys on here its thier first bike, either way our love for this great bike is the fabric that binds us all together..........alright who spiked my coffee again. Sorry I didn't mean to get all mushy. But let it be known to all the street riders.........MOLES RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![8D][8D][8D]

Welcome to KF and congrats on the new ride.

that is correct that you need to learn how to crawl before you can actually ride!!!

Yes its true, I am, this was my last bike I sold when my son was born. Man I miss that cat.[8D][8D][8D]

Welcome to the forums! Glad to see others getting back into riding again. I got back into it last year after 17 years.
