size matters...new here
hi all, short time lurker...first time poster. i'm 52 yrs young and live in desmoines, iowa. i started on mini bikes in the 60's, honda sl125 and sl350 in the 70's and traded them in for kids in the 80's.i got an old friend into kayaking and he got me back into dual sportingin the 0's. i have been called vertically challenged at 5'7" and it was hard to find a bike my size. i started with a super sherpa 250 and found it hard to keep up with larger honda's and ktm's on the way to pikes peak. sold it to a buddy in CO. bought and modified a dr650. loved it but tough on the old guy on the trails and loading up ( recovering from 3rd shoulder surgery here). hauled it out to ft. collins CO. and begrudgingly sold it to my son in law. now i justpicked upa klx250s and have started on mods already. it's fun but....i miss my dr650 and may have to get another. i'm thinking man and woman were never meant to just have one bike. and size does matter.

Welcome John, its nice to see another KLX owner, that way it saves me time not having to post a persuasion picture in order to get you to buy one. Peace. Oh who am I kidding. Here you go.
