Default Question about gear

Hey guys, I'm currently only 15 but planning on buying a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R once I get my money and was wondering what gear would be good for me. I liked a couple but not sure how high in the protection they are.

All of them would be good choices except the last helmet listed. I don't trust cheap generic helmets.

I've gotta ask, you're only 15 and plan on buying a 10R? Not to sound like the old guy here (because we have deej!), but that really sounds like a bad idea for your safety's sake. A good number of twenty-somthin' year old's have a hard enough time keeping their 600's shiny side up. I don't know you personally, but at your age, you should look at something smaller until you get more riding miles under you. BTW; have you actually checked on insurance rates for a 10R in your age group? It might cost you the same to insure a Ferrari.[&:]

hmm, ya got me on the 10r statement. You must be racing the 250 gp club races already in order to understand the 10r. Not insulting here, but wow, at 15 and planning on riding a liter ride. But after looking at your gear choices, you do not plan on racing it either. So what gives? You win the lottery and plan to play with an explosive weapon at an early age?

Welcome to the forums.

Alright, thanks for the gear info. And for the 10R I'm mainly wanting it because that's the motorcycle my brother was getting ready to get before he got hit by a drunk driver. I'll look into getting something with a little less power but I'm very tempting on getting it for rides around here and its one of the only sport bike I really like that looks and sounds nice. (( I don't like anything other then sport bikes )) But if ya'll have some suggestions I'm interested

And when I say rides I mean driving on the highway and speeding mostly, is the gear I picked out not good racing gear?

whew! ya had me going on the 10r and me not knowing your experience level. Although, I am abit partial to them. ( They are sweet rides! I agree)
Sorry to hear about your brother. He ok?
There are alot of sport rides available to fit everyone's needs. Gear wise, am really glad that you actually considered gear as a priority. Congrats on that decision.

edit: spelling

Yeah. My plan is taking the classes after I get my truck and try to buy my motorcycle during that period of time.

Thanks, and sadly no. The car hit a ditch and bascially pulled a Dukes of Hazzard and sadly landed on top of him and his bike.
