I just wanted to intro myself, I'm Greg from Vancouver, WA. I had a Red 05 ZX6R but it got stolen out of a parking lot with only three weeks and about 250 miles on it. Just got its replacement, a 06 Blue ZX6R which I have about 225 miles and 4 weeks on this on. Only has frame sliders so far, and that is what my other bike had. I am waiting on the steering damper from the GB last week, cant wait to get that on. The green and yellow bikes are my ex-g/f. I am "watching" them till she gets back from the Middle East with the Air Force.

Welcome... Sorry to hear about the bike, but it looks like you've got it covered... Did insurance help you out on that one?

 

that sux about the bike man we have anohter member gotrice who had his bike stolen same color but it was the year B4 your. glad u got another one back i wish my garage looked like that lol

 

Thanks, for the welcomes. Yes, the insurance paid most of the cost of replacement. The one time that I decided not to get the gap insurance, and it bit me. Anyway the dealership was really good about the replacement, they took all of the extra charges off, and even gave the gap insurance at a much reduced rate, around 75% or so. I was really happy about that, and only had to come up with about $200 plus tax, title and licence fees.

 

yes sir, my bike was stolen then given back. They did $7300 damage on an $8400 bike hmmmmmmm but now its all better

Greets all, new to the forum here also, sux to hear about your bike, Im from Arizona. Hey anybody wanna steal my bike?...lol...just kiddin...just havn a hell of a time tryin to get mine back to the norm 05 500R, crash last summer and busted my front fairing, bent the fairing/headlight frame and scratched the **** out of her....cost me 18 staples in my head, (first and last time w/o helmet) broke elbow, dislocated fingers and some gnarly roadrash on my back.....damn gravel...she still runs great and lookin better....does this site have a donations bin?....hahaha....
