Default Newbie and proud of it...questions though

Well, it has begun, after MANY years of waiting (and alot of begging my wife) I finally got my first bike, black ninja 250R. I've had some basic instructions on an old honda 250T but this is my first bike thats all MINE. So anyways, I've putted around a bit, not as much as I would like, gotta take care of the little one :P. What I'm looking for is some good ideas to customize my bike, I really want to get rid of the rear fender and maybe get rid of the blinkers, was hoping to get a tail light that incoporates blinkers. I also want to trim the front blinkers too, hoping to get just the LED lights that are right on the sides. Lastly I was hoping to trim down the mirrors. I've done some looking around on the web, but cant seem to find much of what I want except for the rear fender trim. Any tips/tricks would great for a new rider thats looking to get experience and have a great time!

Welcome to the KFamly Draco. I used to have a Honda VTR250. Fun little bike. I bet the new 250Rs are a blast to ride. Gear up and ride it 'till the wheels fall off.

Congrats on the new bike and Welcome! Your going through the same thing as me.. after 4 hours of purchasing my 08 Ninja 250r we eliminated the fender, got rid of the "shrek ears" as in the front blinkers and installed LED flush mounts, lowered my bike 3", installed new handle grips that look better and easier to grasp and now we are underway to a new Area P full exhaust to give it a little something! Good luck finding everything, we had to use the closest flush mounts we could find and then modify them by sanding them down but you can't tell anything because the slipped in perfect after all that and look 100% better!
