I am sorry I was not laughing at you really it was just the statement gotrice made, plus I am not normally up at this hour I just could not sleep. I wish I could help but I have never turned a bike into a street fighter. If I was to go that route I would probably start laying it out on paper and then preparing for a lot of time and customization. It really is going to depend on what design you want to accomplish. Start checking prices on items you can buy aftermarket, and prepare a list of things you will need to either do the work yourself or pay someone to do...off the top of my head I am thinking a lot of welding.

here is an example of a streetfighter from Sacramento

This 1987 1100cc streetfighter is owned and was built by Chris Ward of S.A.M. (Suburban Attack Motorcycles) of Sacramento, CA. All late model modification parts were obtained from AEC Cycle. S.A.M. specializes in one-off conversions or modifications to your bike. Call Chris for details at 916-548-6097 or e-mail at gixxerjunkie@hotmail.com.
