Default newb checking in

New to the forum.
Took the MSF, had an EX500 as my first bike, sold it and got a Fat Boyso the wife and Icould ride together.
Now looking at an zx-6r or rrfor the times I am by myself.I Miss having a nice light bike to play on.
Local dealer as both the 6r and 6rr if anyone has any advice between the two. Been doing some reading on both of them, but am open for more suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to KF and congrats on the fatboy and your wife liking to ride.
As you know, the 6r is the label now for the 600s for the 07's. No more 636 or 6rr's.
I would think that the 7 would fit both of your needs.

Welcome to KF! All Ninja's are awesome. The only thing that I hear is that the 6rr is not as comfy on the street because it is setup for the track but I never got the impression it was that big of a difference from the 6R. My husband loves his 2003 636. Hope that helps.

Hey thanks everyone.
Both models werenew 06's the rr and the 636.
We'll see what kind of deal I can get on either. Soas I understand it, the 636isn't offered anymore, and the 6r is 599cc.
Did the 636 have more low end than the 599? I think that is what I understood from what I have read.

That is true on the 6r having better low to mid than the 6rr from my reading also.
