Hi , I just joined the forum.Right now I have a Kaw KZ 750 LTD an 1982 model. I've been riding bikes since I was 14.I Started out with a 1932 harley, I've had a lot of bikes but just ride for the pleasure of it.I'm 74 years old now and don't ride year around like I use to but still enjoy. The drivers that are on the road now are scarry, with cell phones and dope, you feel vulnerable. I hope to ride as long as I can. Thats all I have to say for now...

Hawken, welcome to the forums!!! I'm sure you have some stories that all of us want and/or NEED to hear!! You're right about the drivers and feeling vulnerable. It seems like no matter how proactive and alert we may be, there is always that arrogant fool on four wheels out there who just doesn't care.
As for your being 74, I say GOOD FOR YOU (keep on riding!!!) You're only as old as you let others convince you of being! It's a true pleasure to have you on this site. Let us know if we can help with your LTD. Welcome again!!

I have the '81 KZ 750 LTD anda '99 Harley Sportster 883C
While I use the H-D on longer, highwaytrips I love running around town on the KZ
It's quiet, has great pickup and maneuvers wonderfully
Kawasaki really knew what they were doing when they made our bikes!!
