Hi all. I just joined the forum and thought I'd say hi.
I just took delivery of a new-to-me 2007 KLX250S yesterday! I previously had a KLR650 but it was just too big and heavy for me so I sold it last fall. I spent the winter thinking about what I wanted to replace it with, and eventually decided the 250 would be the bike for me. I found one last weekend, did the deal, and now it's in my garage!

It's all stock except for a set of Avon Distanzia tires and one of those JC Whitney top boxes. I rode it around the neighborhood last night. It seems like a nice little bike but I think it's begging to be uncorked. I've been reading up on that and other stuff.
I've been riding a long time (since I was 12) and have several other bikes, but this is the only dual sport. I'm looking forward to exploring dirt roads and doing some easy trail riding.

Hey Debby, a warm welcome to the forums. What a great bike. Yes I own one too, hehehe its a 2006 that I bought brand new in November of 05 and now have over 13,000 miles on it. You will only grow in your love of this bike. Congrats and have fun, gear up and stay safe.

Oh no, a girl in the Mole hill. Those guys wont know what to do, lol. Congrats on the new ride. The KLX forum is buzzing lately so you should have no problem getting any info you need, and they seem to know what they are talking about for the most part. But you cant be a true mole with a bike that clean, that purdy new bike has to get dirty sometime.
