Default New to Kawasaki, New to Motorcycles

Well I've always wanted a bike but various things kept getting in the way. School, Work, nagging girlfriends, all that good fun. I went overseas for a while and moved back in January and one day I was talking about motorcyles with a friend, realized I had no reason not to and signed up for the MSF course.

Last week I bought a 2000 Kawasaki Ninja 500r with 5100 miles for $2300, I may not know much about rideing but I am in love with the bike and the sport.

Sounds to me like you got a pretty good deal. I bought a used and slightly damaged'05 Ninja 500R with 2,500 miles on it last September as my first bike and I've ridden 4000+ miles on it so far, even withit sittingfor most of thecold winter. I'm happy with the bike. Hope you have fun with yours too. I don't have a nagging girlfriend or wife but there's nothing that gets me out of a bad mood quicker than taking the bike out fora ride on a country road on a sunny day where there's no-one to aggravate me and I'm on my own. Good Luck.

Thanks guys, I met up with my first disapointment today.

I tried to go to this forum but it was blocked from work.

Yeah I did get a hell of a deal it came with a riding suit and an Icon tank bag with a hard tailbag. It has slight damage on it and the clutch is slightly bent in. Other then that all is good to go.

One more thing, I'm wondering if anyone has a way to mount a garmin C330 on the bike. (It's a pretty big gps, I think I'm gunna have to be creative)
