Default new here, hope someone can help

though I have ridden gixxers since 2000, I thought I would give kawasaki a go. I now have a 2006 zx10r. so far I am pretty pleased with the bike, though I think the gixxers have a bit more power a lower rpm's, but getting up in the r's, wow! its a beast to say the least. but... I have a small problem I hope someone can help me with... the "glass" on the instrument cluster has a crack right down the center, I am wandering if there is a way to just replace the clear cover without changing te entire cluster, and if so where can I get my paws on one? any help would be useful

This is what I have found so far on oem replacement parts. http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/model...semblies/83676

Stop smacking your head against the instrument cluster on downshifting! sheesh! lol

Welcome to KF and congrats on the ride.

I've seen people use plexi glass. Maybe a car window place can fix it with that special sealer?

plexiglass scratches way too easily, lexan is cheap enough and doable if you want to fabricate and rebuild. Separating the gauge is what I am unsure of.
