Default new girl from Cleveland

Hi everyone!I'm new to motorcycles..been around people that have them..and now its finally my turn...
Stuff about me... my name is Laura
age:22 (jan 28th)
status: i'm a full time college seniorand paying for my own way thru
pets: a black toy poodle (very hyper)
activities i like: jet skiing, camping, ice skating, fencing,
favorite movie(s): anything funny or romantic.. i guess the notebook is my fave (i'm a girl what did u expect?)
music: almost everything
fave food: pasta , chocolate

I enrolled in the basic rider course ,now i'm browsing for bikes..
I like the ninja 250, i went in to a dealer to "test" it (basically just sit on it haha). I was kinda worried that I won't be able to ride b/c the motorcycle seems to big 4 me. I'm 5"5 and 115lb, i know how to ride a bike..but i'm just afraid i won't be able to balance when it comes to a motorcycle

Oh by the way I watched the Notebook.....twice and cried my eyes out both times, I'm not afraid to admit it. But then again I almost cry every time I see that humane society dog commercial with Sara McLaughlin singing in the back ground. Sheesh.[&:]

Deej...[&:] Ahhh, whatever.

Anywho, Welcome again also. I'm sure a 250 won't be too big for you. It can always be lowered if it is.

Hope you stick around and enjoy our strange community of riders.[8D]

i love these clowns..lol

welcome to KF laura!!

good to have ya.

oh.. as far as balacing the bike whilst moving, you have physics on your side!! (it's called angular momentum..)

the gyroscopic force from your rotating mass (wheels) will keep you from falling.

and you'll have absolutely NO problem on keeping the machine up when at a light. i've seen tiny ppl hold overized bikes up with no problem. you'll do fine!!
