wanted to post this link to our local club track.click on satelite view. The land owner made it open to anyone wanting to learn to ride better. Zero tolerance for showboaters or lack or safety or respect. I try to go once a wek in the warmer months. It's called the nature trail.

it's in Missoula,MT. Track is super tight usually 35-40 MPH with 90 or so on the straights. The guy who built it did so for his own use but has been very generous with the community. There is a group of Super Moto guys that just rip it up out there. Currently plans in place to add another batch of asphault to make it friendlier to the bigger bikes. I ran my ten the last two summers but rode the 636 out there once and was much happier leading to me building my6RR specifically for track use. I have some vids but they are shot in 1080P so I need to convert them for internet use. It's a total sportbike equivalent to the field of dreams.

Would be a good kart track it sounds like. MT is too far from me as it is, but extremely nice of the guy in letting people ride it. Hopefully he makes everyone sign a waiver form.

waiver, portapotty dues, tech check and helmet, boots, gloves, leathers are all mandatory. I'm trying to build a kart out of a 900RR honda motr/trans I have and I'll bet it will be a blast there. themotards love it and it's greatfor corner work on a mid class bike... liter bikeskill on the straight but hold up the smaller guys in the tight turns.

My karts are dinky in comparison. I have a track next door with a cork screw and everything. No way that any of my rides would fit comfortable on this track.

I'm sure you've probably seen the infamous GixxerKart.... that's the type I'm hoping for but nobody up here does anything bigger than the Briggs powered type so chassis parts even a 125 shifter kart are hard to find.
