Hey guys i just got a red/black 2002 EX500r 
i cant wait to ride it. Also i been looking for exhaust systems for it , can any1 recommend me some and if you have the links for them thanks alot !

welcome to the forum.... congrats on the bike.... do you have a dual exhaust or single?.... so i'm not too familiar with that bike... but if you go with a single exhaust that would look sweet.... post some pics...

speedbike is the ebay username he goes by and he sells surachu race pipes imported from brazil. they are 2 into 2 that use the stock headers and all other stock equipment.
go to ex500riders.com and you'll see just how many have these pipes fitted to their machines. i recently purchased them for the girlfriends 87 ex500 and they sound well, um, loud. but, i do like them... they are available in chrome and carbon fiber.
you picked a great machine there my friend... i used to own one... that's why i convinced my girlfriend to buy one off of ebay all the way in friggin chicago when we live in colorado. it's been a project but, we knew that from the gitgo.
good thing she's taking the vfr800 to baja instead
also, i do not recommend muzzy or any other 2-1 system... these bikes are very fussy about mods! you think i'm kidding? just go look around the tech forum at ex500riders.com. keeping the stock header is the best thing you can do when considering a new system for this particular bike.

by the way... edgar (speedbike) is moving his shop to florida at the moment and is out of stock for the time being. he hopes to start importing again in the next few weeks. i got the last set he had.
