New Again
Hi guys. Quite a few months ago I joined and posted here as a new member. I was over half way on my money saved and trying to decide between a 03 concours or the good old KLR650. Well, that money had to go to other family things out of my control. I just went away quietly, a discouraged beaten man.
Since then, I am trying to save again ( I decided I want a KLR cause I've always had a "thing" for them) but I did manage to pick up an 82 KZ1000 J model. I finally got it running fairly descent and now feel justified to belong on this board again. That is why I am posting as a new member. This is the first inline four I've owned and actually the first Kawasaki. 2 yamahas, 1 honda, 1 bmw and 1 harley. I have to say, even though my KZ is pretty rough, I am impressed. I love it. I will get better on the computer so I can share some pics and stuff and you know I will have questions. Yall were helpful last time. Good to be back!

Welcome back, kemoo. Nothing wrong with a KZ1000; a great classic bike. Sure, the older bikes have their limitations, but they still make excellent commuters and weekend rides. They do many things well. Keep the rubber bits and fluids fresh, and you'll get miles of smiles. Post up some pics when you can.
Gear up; stay safe.

Welcome again, try not to be discouraged about the delay in getting what you want, life is full of those things. They are there just to teach us how to appreciate more fully when things do go the way we want them to.
