Default Kz 750 Help

Hi All,

New to Motorcycle wrenching & Kawasaki

Hubby just picked up 1980 750 ltd on the cheap. . . he knew it needed a starter clutch. But as he has gotten into motor it appears to have more issues. Chain tensioner, ignition coil, pistons & rings.... Anyway, thinking of just looking for another motor. It has a 750E and we need to know do we have any other options or are we stuck looking strickly for an "E"?

Many Thanks in Advance
Ginger

Hello Ginger,
Used to ride and early 80's 750LTD myself. Put about 25K miles on her and she was a good runner. Can't answer your question though. That was in my early 20's and the bike ran so good I never needed to wrench much on it. Good luck.

I am not sure on your question either since I have not played with that era of KZ's yet. Good luck on the project, sometimes a top end rebuild is all that is needed.
