I'm Zach coming from the Carolinas. I'm on my second bike which is the 07 ZX10R. I love it, it is an incredible machine. My first bike was a 93 ZX7 which was an awesome starter bike, but quickly grew tired of the outdated performance and looks so I decided to upgrade. Hope to learn a lot about my bike through this forum.

The ZX7 is a great bike, period. Yes, it's "old technology," but so darn well-sorted that I'd be happy with it as a long-termer. However, the ZX10 is nothing to sneeze at, certainly. More cutting edge, to be sure, but I'm not yet convinced it will have the staying power of the 7.
